    Just a quickie

Here is a teaser pic of what’s going on now. Still got a lot of painting to do, details and aging, lots of aging...

Also I have gotten most of my water-cooling stuff, still need to order the pump. When that gets in I can start to make the mounting brackets for it. By then, all the painting should be done. Thanks for waiting.

    I like it!!!!
It looks rugged like something you could throw off a cliff and still boot up!!!! But please don't try that :D
It also reminds of something militarisic also something you might find in the pentagon.
Great work so far buddah, I'm waiting for more!
Can't wait for the final product.

Wow, I don't usually comment on anything, but this.. this is great!
I'm not particularly fond of the yellow "banana side", and I'm not sure of the purpose of that card reader on the side... but I love how you reduced the size, the front door looks great!

    2 am, still awake...

I know a lot of you don’t really like the banana side, damn you Wickyman, even I am calling it that! But I really do like it... You have to understand that it has been redone something like 5 times now and there is still more work that needs doing.

When I am done, it will be very much subdued compared to what it is now.

Actually the idea of the door is that I want it to look like it came from a different machine. I am hoping that the painting once complete will convey that message. I still need to make stencils for all the text that will be on it. Once the paint is dry on that, then I will do some selective sanding to simulate wear and tear. Add a little corrosion and then grime it up. I have an idea on how to make it grimy, shiny and to also protect it. Hope it works.

N00b - the box on the side has a card reader and a 8 port switch in it. I even have some room to add other things. Just gota figure out what.

What is the box for? Well its a 'NAVCOM CULSTERING DEVICE', I thought it was plain to see. :D I still need to make labels for it, it should say something like; 'NAVCOM CULSTERING DEVICE'. Then no one will need to ask what it is. lol.

Really, I sort of came up with a story about the pc to explain why it is the way it is. I removed those postings because I did not get any response on them. When I complete this project I will give detail captions on all the pics to explain why everything is the way it is. Till then just know that I so far have a reason for everything.

exavier412 - get to work don’t wait on me, I don’t know when I will finish... :dremel:

Well I was at the local Fry's and look what I found.

Guess I wasn't the frist to put an outlet on the back of a pc. :eyebrow:
I am not really surprised. I took the pic with my phone so the quality sucks.

There will be an update at the end of this week since I gotta get the pc in operation for a small lan that I am having this weekend. Till then, later...

Modding the house is great fun. Especially if when the house was built all the wiring was placed in conduits and then it becomes much easier to pull new cables if you have to

If you need help with getting your domain configured just give a shout. There are plenty of people here who are quite knowledgeable about such things ;)
