I'm looking for moding ideas on my own case - http://www.xoxide.com/aspire-x-cruiser-case-black.html I'm not modding any case yet,but i have been collecting guides and techincs for a long time and i know quite a lot of any casemoding in theory .I want tldo some eye catching case,not a with not an "every day" mods.I'll do the regular sleeving,lightning,watercooling,lcd mods,but i'm looking after something special and unique like blue colored nitrious puff controled by blue switch,or uv glowing plexiglas in certan spots to make a lot of impression .If you can just suggest me something to bring my ****in' muse back I little brief on the config.; Fx-55 2,6;2x ASUS EN6800Ultra SLI ,A8N-Sli Deluxe,set of full watercooling sys(BlackIce,DangerDen,Criticool,1/2" Tygon),controlers... I think this was enough to set you up for this It was just a beg for suggestion after all. No anslers, I'm going to post more info around here Ok,the front panel moding I got 4 5,25 " & 2x 3,5" bays.I'm going to cut a pice of alluminium ad paint it black,like the case.Then i'll cut a hole in the middle and put this lcd ( http://szsjd.en.alibaba.com/product/50052038/50237233/LCD_Modules/TFT_LCD_Module__5___.html ) behind it,so only the display will be visible from the hole,and mout it with screws in the only 2 5,5" bays slots.Now we got perfect 5" lcd tft with perfect view and large display.Below the lcd i'll mount a black 5,5" mitron fan controler with glowing knobs and clean black paint.And the last 5,25" bay is for the slot loading pioneer dvd rw,again painted in black.I'm gonna screw the front 80mm gril with brand new 80mm alluminium fan ( http://www.xoxide.com/80alcasfan.html ).I'll remove the standart restart/switch on switches with a lian li stainless switch or a gowing knobs.The hdd usage & power lights will be changed with blue leds.In the 3,5" bay i'll put this thermal,fan & clock diplay ( http://www.pccasegear.com/prod1793.htm ).The other 3,5" bay is empty but i'm thinking on what to do with it And that is only for the front panel,no unique things there.But i'm gonna need something special for the inside of case.Suggest your ideas guys,i'm gonna need them.
The frame of that case is exactly thesame as mine, so if you intend to do hard drive cooling, you will have to bend the hard drive supporting tabs out the way.
Yeah,i know that.Anyway there is no place for two hdd's.I can mount it vertical behind the lcd,or i can cool them with placing them in fron of the BlackIce radiator
