    Thanks guys!

I have two options for top panel. because I have H50 cooler on top level and need some air vents in top panel I may do it in to ways:

first - cut out big rectangle hole and fit mesh in it, something like Lian Li big cases have.
second - get CNC to drill matrix of small holes in rectangle shape and lleave it like that for air ventilation.

I have to admit second version would be cheaper. First idea would cost about £35, when first, drilling with cnc would cost about £15 max. I would like to use cnc cause dont want to drill it by hand.

What do you guys think? What should I do? Or maybe you have better option to make some vent holes on top of the case?

I vote second option. Might restrict airflow though.

Yes, but it wouldn't be that noticeable I think. Plus drilled holes matrix will look nice and clean.

If you're gonna drill or CNC holes anywhere, doing so in a hexagonal honeycomb pattern would certainly fit with the theme of the rest of the case, and so work very well and be less of a distraction.

    Thanks guys!!!

    Small update today..

This weekend I was trying some cable sleeving:)

I have to say It took me a while to understand that cable sleeving tool for PSU ATX cable....

Before I figured out that it supposed to be pushed to the end before you pull the wire, I managed to rip out one of the wires;)

I hope I will be able to fix it. maybe will solder it or something... any suggestions?

OK. Here's some photos of my ATX 24pin cable extension.

Final result is ok I think. One side is better than other; it's ok cause the mobo plug is fine, other one will be hidden in "power chamber" anyway, but still doesn't look that bad I think...

As my first 24pin mod I say it looks ok:)

Then I had to sleeve two SATA cables - that job was sweet and easy.. I love doing those cables...

Here's is my technic to make this process a lot easier - I taped SATA plug and this way it was really easy to push it through the sleeve..

    Here's final result:

Because I will be using power cable extensions for everything (don't want to loose warranty on brand new PSU), so SATA power cables will be also sleeved:

    Here's next to 24pin cable:

Finally, the whole gang... Also 8 pin CPU power cable extension, which I did last week.

I still need to do GPU power cable extensions - 6 and 8 pin, but don't have them yet...
That would be it... Soon will add bigger update.. I hope....

Well, sleeving is something you'll get better at as you try and try and try and...oh god...try some more! (like most things in life, I guess)

Some tips: Cut off the heatshrink in even lenghts and try to shrink each one of them at the same place on the cable. This will ensure you get a straight line across the ATX-plug. It's kind of easy to see that your heatshrink have various lenghts and that's a shame, I think.

Tip 2: It looks like you don't pull the sleeve tight after having shrunk the heatshrink in one of the ends. To get a tighter fit (easier to bend and harder to see through) and an overall better look on the sleeve, try to pull, stretch or gently "rub" it towards the end that hasn't had heatshrink applied to it yet. Then, hold the streched sleeve firmly and shrink the heatshrink over the last end. Takes a couple of practice shots, but eventually you'll get it better.

Other than that, I got nothing to criticise. The yellow/black combo: I LOVE it!

Guys, I would like to hear your opinion on design of side panel.
Window I want to cut out supposed to be small but still showing all insides. I'm not sure if I should go with simple square hole or with hex edges, then smaller or a bit bigger one.
Here's hex edge window, smaller and bigger option:

    [IMG] [IMG]

Now, we have different cover options. These will be cut out form thin 1.5mm aluminium and will be mounted with rivets, adding some nice touch:)
Which option is best in your opinion? First is most simple, then second and third with biggest number of pieces...

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Don't worry about main window panel behind - covers will also be cut with those hex shape edges so they will macth panel behind them, with small 2mm gap. I just sketched those quickly to visualise the ideas.

Go with asymmetry, it's much more interesting. I like the left-hand one!

I changed it a bit to make it more chaotic :)
I think it's more interesting when its more assymetrical, what do you guys think?

I like the new window with the left most design (#1) for the panels.

Well, in this case you will like my latest design :)

    It would look like this...

Here you can see thickness of top covers... 2mm aluminium.
