Back to the point Bear in mind we're all running PC's perfectly capable of running all the software we need at the moment and I don't see why anyone is suddenly going to release software which will make me more productive.

true, but there are enough users out there that dont know anything about pc's that would buy them because they dont know any better. And there are enough of them to make TC dominant, i'd probably end up with 2 pcs, one with tc, and one without. Either way, the system will eventually be broken to one extent or another.

 

True, but a simple legislation getting passed to ban current computer technology in favor of TCG compliant equipment. Bush has the works on bannign gay marriages, what's to stop the TCG leader from rallying enough support for "security" to pass such a law?

This is some scary ****. Here in regional Australia most people think that TCPA is some sort of nut-case conspiricy theory, and the rest either don't understand what it means or just don't care.
