Looks nice -- does it affect the signal strength at all?

Also a) Does your cat have legs? b) Where is the end of that thermometer? :worried:

ROFL Nah we call him stubs. HAhaha just kiddin. He bundles up real tight. And I can't tell you where it's at. Its a overclocker secret.

As for the phone, doesn't seem to do anything. The LED was behind a resistor anyhow. SMT, real small resistor.

Sure, not too detailed be here it goes.

Take the battery cover off, remove battery. Unscrew those two screws (gold color). Then take an eyeglasses flathead and stick it into the groove near the charging posts. Twist and pull the halves apart.

Once inside look for the led. Use the soldering gun to burn off the heatshrink.

Then follow my quick and dirty soldering guide here.

Edit: Also, cut the old LED off at the very tip of the bulb. That way you still have the "legs" of the old LED there. Then you apply solder to those legs. And put on the LED to that solder, 1 leg at a time.

    Finished.

Take note of the slant inside the LED, if you match that, you will have the polarity right also.
