I've been travelling around New Zealand for the past 7 or so weeks having a bit of a blast, took a few thousand pictures and these are the best of the bunch (although I've not looked through them all as yet.) It was the perfect place for the 10-20mm so that stayed on my camera 90% of the time.

    WOW! amazing... :thumb:

I like 2, 3 7, 8 & 10 at first glance and I reckon a lot of them have even better potential if you are willing to spend a lot of time post-processing. I reckon #7 could look awesome post-processed in colour.

    Great shots, keep it up!

:jawdrop: <- although I think I need a bigger drop to show how great these pics are!

Wowee, can't wait to go to New Zealand next Christmas. I'd better have a dSLR by then! Could I have a high res version of the first one, would be a nice background for me :)

Amazing, especially considering they're all handheld. Really love #5 and #2, though the rest of them are excellent too. :thumb:

What do you use to do the boarders?

Can I get the mountain/trees/b&w one in 1600?? Background material tbh.

    Cheers everyone :)

Borders were just done in PS (Stroke 1px white then enlarge canvas with black background).

I'll get some high-res ones up later this week (going back to uni today and won't have any internet access until Wednesday.)

Fantastic, great photos! I think my favourite would have to be the pier. Good stuff, looks like you had a great trip!

Just a circular polariser for one or two (ones taken with the kit lens). Really could have done with some ND/Grad NDs though :(

Love the colour though it could have benefitted from even longer exposure.

Open this one in photoshop and correct the perspective and you've got a great shot. (or buy a TS lens)

    btw. sigma 10-20
