I love modern architecture (my folder is filled with >70% of it, i really need to shoot something else more often!) but I can't help thinking that you could've taken some shots that were more unconventional or abstract because the building is ripe for it.

I do like these, but I have a feeling that you can do a lot better, as in WOW! shots :p

Is it me, or is your camera got a penchant for colour casting all your shots with a faint layer of magenta? I remember that your previous photos had it as well i think.

Yeah, it seems to do that, might be the Scottish sunlight though :)

I should have my 300D tomorrow, so we will see what thats like.

A couple of shots just to give an idea of the whole building.

Remarkable modern architecture, i'd like to see more of that architect. And yes great pics too :thumb:
edit: Googled. Enric Miralles, died quite young. Designed some great structures, his Borneo houses are in my own city, well known too.

I don't understand why but the first of the new shots really messes with my head - in a good way!

Nice photos, but the sky seems a little over exposed in a couple (but at least it doesn't let people see how grey the weather is in scotland :p )

No way. I was convinced that first shot was a composite until I scrolled further down and saw the rest. Gotta credit the architect on some fantastic work there, and you've done a stellar job capturing it.

I'd love to see what those windows look like from the inside. It must feel like being in prison! Maybe it's designed to serve as a reminder to the MPs of where they'll end up if they give in to temptation :D

That last first shot, (msp01) is incredible. I reckon that would look stunning with a tilt/shift lens. Amazing architecture.

    Thanks for sharing that.
