1st shot with new gf2 with 14mm lens.
You got the GF2 then did you ? Nice shot, could do with a bit of exposure though, maybe or shl.
I did 5 years warrenty on it too for £439
Jipa - love #2!
I was tempted to but that's pretty much what it looked like - mainly tungsten lamps with straw/warm gels in. If I change the w/b they look 'better' but don't have the feel of the event, so to speak...
Need a zoom lens to see those MechDoc02! Make them bigger or link them somewhere so we can see!
Your command is my wish!
I'm still struggling with the mechanics of posting photos on discussion groups. It isn't difficult, but it is, shall we say, unforgiving. In the way computers are for being literal-minded, etc., ...
You should now see larger photos in my earlier post. And if you really would like even larger photos, well, here's my Flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/littleboatsailor/
On my Flickr site, the Hamilton Pool, Pedernales Falls, and wildflower sets are most likely to be of general interest. Nearly all of these photos were taken in central Texas, in what we call the Hill Country. Some folks like the taller trees, such as the forests of East Texas, and there may even be a few who prefer the wide open spaces of West Texas, but many of us prefer the rocky Hill Country with it's scrub trees (except along stream beds), where granite and other rock layers stick out of the ground.
There's been a big protest today in Sheffield, England against the Lib Dem party (one half of the coalition government). Here's a few pictures from the protests.
Cheers MechDoc02! (Yeah when I started I used to just quote someone and remove the quote tags and insert my own urls)
Oooh I like it
Fantastic shots. Especially the middle one.
Really nice photos here, B&W are my favourite!

More on my flickr.
Really like the first one, was that stage lighting?
There's no big balls , but still a bokeh (i guess)

Was purely the stage lights and I suppose a bit of luck of my positioning. Other angles didn't quite work the same as that part of the dance was on the floor level rather than the stage.
Love those shots.
Amazing work flashcurd and weasal!

was messing with my old compact (Lumix TZ4) and the first photo i took turned out to be the best one of the day!
Finally got a single photo. And one that I rather like.
I am happy now (click for big, as usual).
I'm looking to flowers nowadays

I have some catching up to do... These are a few from a set of production stills I did for a short film, The Breaker, back in February. Delivering the full set this afternoon so I thought I'd give BT a sneak preview. These are my favourites, whittled down from about 700 taken on the day. Some minor Lightroom tweaking done, nothing too serious.
Apologies for bigness, how do I do it properly?
