Went out paddling yesterday and finally got out to a wreck I've been wanting to visit for a while. This is the S/V Windjammer, a 65' ferrocement sailboat abandoned in Simlik Bay.

Close The marine growth only goes up to the point of the highest tides. The parts that are always out of the water stay clean. When I was there the tide was about a 0 or 1 ft. 10+ foot tides are not uncommon in this area, so at high tide almost the entire boat is under water.
I'm not questioning why the rest is dirty It just looks brand new, as opposed to old, but not attacked from growing stuff.
Saw a Jag, didn't have my tripod, sat the camera on the ground, propped up the lens with my shoe and self-timer'd it. Jaguar XK by angad84, on Flickr
Nice colours. I've been meaning to get out to some of the yellow fields around here. Not sure about the shallow DOF though?
I quite liked the shallow DOF in this case makes the background more of a colour abstract, but I did take other shots with larger DOF as well, I just didn't like them as much. DSC_2746_edited-1 by whisperwolf, on Flickr
They are both nice Pictures WhisperWolf. Personally I like the first one best. I love thefocus in that image. Also I like how it's nice and bright.

800mm? Color me envious. I crossed another car off my list of 20 that I'd like to shoot in the next year. Lambo Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce. Focus on the second shot is a little off but I loved the angle so I kept it.
He's a lucky ba$tard just for having seen one of these?! My boss just bought one. Not an SV, it's "only" a Murcielago LP-640, but still...
