Awesome Vulcan shot. I do quite like the kite as well, although it's somewhat upstaged by gratuitous machinery.

thank you all, really appreciate the support. it was a great day at Duxford.

it was a tiny crop at just over 2000x1200 (less than 1/4 of original), taken with my 24-105mm at 105mm. i would love to print it on canvas, would its resolution be good enough? how large can i print it without showing pixelation?

Depends how sharp it is - if not tack sharp then you can upscale it to a higher res and it will print less pixellated.

If you provide a 300/240DPi file, it should be okay as long as you're not blowing it up to billboard proportions. I've had a 2k file printed at 24" by (some other number that escapes me) and it came out fine.

That's a nice shot nonetheless. Sky was tricky for me when I tried one the other week, gave up in the end... :(

Yeah, I left the ghosting of the pedestrians, as I felt it added something, but struggling to get the sky, tempted just to mask it off and leave the original ;-)

I think that would be better - mask it and pick the nicest sky. :)

I just took this picture this morning in Enderlin, North Dakota. The small train on the left is the one I work on :thumb:
