This little badboy was on his way to grab an apple in our tree. I missed him on his first trip but got him on the second.

I'm a little... Unusual, photography wise. I explore Abandoned Mines, and naturally photograph them, and I don't use AF at all. Here's a couple. First is shot on an EOS 400D with a Pentacon 30/3.5, the Second on an NEX-3 with the same lens. Just a disclaimer - Don't go in Mines without someone who knows what they are doing - People DO die, and the dangers are not usually obvious. More on my Flickr here... https://secure.flickr.com/photos/new_stuff/
How odd - I use a 400D, and also own a pentacon 30mm, along with a Helios 44m, but I think you mean 3.5?
I do indeed, a little distracted, trying to sort out a virii-riddled laptop. I'll edit it now. I sold the 400D to get the NEX, and for my photography, it walks all over the 400D. Focus peaking is a must-have for anyone using a Manual lens. I'll get a picture of my Manual lens collection sometime. Too many to list here, and the list just grows. As for Odd, I was born in Ipswich.
So playing around with natural light a lot more lately (traditionally I've worked with strobes). Memphis Black by JazzXP, on Flickr

Today, I discovered that trying to shoot a moving train, decorated with a millions christmas light, is quite dificult. Here's my best shot. By TBSM1984, on Flickr
Thanks stonedsurd and mars-bar-man. I appreciate the feedback. Every show there are shots that I personally love but others don't and I'm always curious what people respond to.
All 3 are nice, but i especially like the last 2. I wouldnt know where to start technically trying to shoot in those conditions, but you are obviously very skilled!
So many good photos, so little brainpower to go through them all. A couple of mine from tonight's brief star-trail session: Startrail out-take by HarvB, on Flickr An out-take after a car came past, although I like the wobbly rings in the red light where the LED lights have flicked on and off as it passed. A rubbish Rallye startrail... by HarvB, on Flickr And the end result - not great, it's a little dark and full size the car was a bit blurry thanks to a light breeze moving the tripod about. For a first effort and 0PP other than the stack I'm quite happy though (it's to go in a monthly photo comp where PP is banned, so I'm pushing the rules a bit with a stack).
