Norse lightning Gods. But they keep blowing my budget on beer. So, I'm thinking of using CLS. Actually, I'm thinking of moving to some radio triggers. But I am a lazy git and like being able to control groups from the camera. I'll just have to up the budgets I guess.
its pretty cool, how did you get that effect? If not for looking closely at it, I would have believed you if you said it was a painting.
Thats how the sky was that night from the back of my house its not been changed in any way we get some great sky's I've got loads of pic's
yeah well the sky really looks cool, like it was painted in an impressionist style. Only the silhouettes of the hills and building look somewhat real.
Just got my new, used lens today ; http://i907.photobucket.com/albums/ac274/Gregory_Kouvatsis/_DSC1247.jpg Copyright: Copyright 2009 Gregory Kouvatsis Device: Nikon D700 Aperture: F/3.2 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Metering: Center-Weighted ISO Sensitivity: ISO 200 Copyright: Copyright 2009 Gregory Kouvatsis Device: Nikon D700 Aperture: F/2.8 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Metering: Matrix ISO Sensitivity: ISO 200
Not really happy with this. Didn't have the right lens with me or a tripod, so I couldn't really get enough in the frame or do an accurate panorama. Still, I think it merits you cool kids seeing it!
f/2.8. This is another issue. The lens I've got is a fully manual old thing and unless you detach it from the body, you can't change it from f/2.8. Which has it's advantages in a way because it means I have to be creative and work around my bajillions of issues!
So i had an empyt bottle of Crystal Head vodka. Filled it with water and a little blue food coloring. The bar I hang out at has some great cracked glass tabletops so i put it on top of that and then placed my flash behind the skull (http://www.crystalheadvodka.com)
