I'm bored and still faffing about with things to try and keep my mind off reality. Have something random:

Yes, just a good bit of manipulation was done to it. Does it bend the rules of this thread a bit too much then?

So yesterday I got up at 4am to hit up sunrise with the lovely Ashley. We shot a real mix of stuff from art nudes, to glamour, to swimwear fashion, and even ended with some studio work. A bit of a sample :)

No.. there are no rules that I'm aware of. Just wasn't sure what I was looking at.

Given the lovely models and great locations, I might manage the odd 4am start - and I'm not a morning person lol

I would love to try working on some model work in the same sort of style you have JazzXP - I think even just going along with someone for the day to experience how it all works, the setup, lighting etc would be a great way to spend the day.

I can't even get my 6yo daughter to sit still anymore lol

You caught it! I'm ever envious of the scenery you can capture. Nicely done.

Haha, yes, I think I'll be doing more morning starts next summer down here. It opens up more options having a beach without anyone on it (I'd go into that, but I think my Flickr stream will explain that more).

Get yourself along to a workshop. That's pretty much how I started and it helped shape the direction I headed it.

Anyway, something a little different for me this time...

    Cheers CMW

I'm so glad we don't get real snow, but it does make for some pretty photos.

The third is my favourite. Love shots from that perspective.

Got a nikon d3100 yesterday, charged the battery over night so I could let rip today!
My first camera I have ever owned... :p Have used point and shoots before but they never get along with me very well! So after months of umming and arring I took the dive into the (entry level) world of DSLRs, loved every second so far! Wish it would stop raining outside, worried it'll damage my new toy! :jawdrop:

Ended up rebuilding all of my diffusers the other day as I was getting annoyed with reflections and all the terrible that was going on. Must say that I am quite happy with the result. Still have to get used to and skilled with positioning of all four lights, but it is miles better than what was there before!

Lovely shot dude reminds me of what I shot today can't beat the geeky glasses look,

Either start with a work shop or rope some friends in which is how I started, It helps if you are good buddies with some strippers but normal friends will do also.
