Haha, yeah, the glasses are awesome. Just wish the lenses were easily removable, it really made it a lot harder lighting wise.
Haha, no, I got a "I don't want to ruin my glasses" from the model! On another note, another edit from last week. Love this one. If it's pushing the limits here a bit far let me know... Ashley by JazzXP, on Flickr
That's awesome... Love the tones on the background. Same for shadows on the arms etc... 70 cents on a $ by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr The lucky goat by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr
Thanks guys. I think this is one of my favourites I've taken recently (along with an art nude the same day on the beach) This one is a winner. Love it. Love the bright colours against the bleak concrete.
Presenting the newest member of our family: a greyhound we adopted from the local race track. I feel so emasculated because her thighs are bigger than mine!
I've been searching for this little bugger for a good while now but finally managed to track it down. Decided to try something interesting with it, what do you lot think? Full size version here.
Looks good Dude , looks fairly safe bit of naked foot never hurt anyone. Couple of my favs this week . This girls first shoot but can't really tell as she was a natural (rare as rocking horse """") One more of Cheryl
Stunning work (on both). Gotta love those girls that are great right from day one! In my case it's been interesting watching Tinx's (girl with the glasses above) modelling come along. Her first shoot was with me, and each shoot, she gets that bit better. She's a lot better than some girls that have been doing it for years.
Nice stoned, your usual theme! A couple of mine from my weekend trip to Geneva. Jetty by HarvB, on Flickr A spectacular sprinkler by HarvB, on Flickr Lighthouse by HarvB, on Flickr
Thanks! And yep, save for a week spend in the Andaman Islands earlier this month, I have literally not had time to shoot anything but planes over the past... 8-ish months. Really need to take a few hours off sometimes and wander the city again. Really like these two. The tree in the last one kinda spoils it a bit, though.
those girls look fantastic! stoned, what sort of gear do you use?! Krik, have to agree with stoned! Maybe a bit of cropping get that lighthouse to the right of the image more, rule of thirds and all that jazz! _ It was dark outside and I thought, meh, photo shoot time! So went out and took some classic light streak shots and some arty street shots - had great fun doing so too! Canon 50D, 70-200mm f/4L IS and 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS for most aircraft stuff. I also have a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and a Canon 50mm f/1.4 for general shooting. When I'm going for an assignment or air show, I usually rent a 7D as a second body and on very rare occasions, a 500mm f/4L IS. Despite the limited reach of the 70-200, it is easily my favourite because it's just stupidly sharp, even wide open. The 100-400L on the other hand is my bread-and-butter but I absolutely hate it because I know I will have to slave in Lightroom to get any sort of quality from it. These were all shot with the 70-200: (click for big)
Thanks guys, they're all straight from camera save a quick levels and contrast tweak, I'll have a tweak and see if I can get them looking a bit better. Edit: Lighthouse by HarvB, on Flickr Looks a bit better to me, what do you guys think? The edit tools on Flickr are surprisingly good!
This was done for our rowing team's website. Taken at about midnight with the fog rolling in. And on this note, does anyone know a good site for uploading panoramas to? I am trying to capture the real size of these things since the original size for this one is 26k x 2800 pixels
Thanks! And yeah, it is 10 photos (16.2MP each) stitched together. Photoshop was hogging 4.72 GB of memory with it open. The tiff file is about 1.72 GB.
