What a weekend ! So glad the season has finally started. These are only a quick selection, so I will be uploading more during the next week (some great ones to come!) - Most of them will be on my flickr but I will post the odd one or two here (including some Ginettas for Krikkit ) Heres a taster: Matt Jackson #7 - Ford Focus NGTC - Airwaves Racing by bdigital101, on Flickr Neal and Sheddon - Honda Civic NGTC - Honda Yuasa Racing Team by bdigital101, on Flickr Barnes #10 - Porsche Carrera Cup GB by bdigital101, on Flickr Paddock Hill by bdigital101, on Flickr Daniel Welch #10 - Proton Gen-2 NGTC - Welch Motorsport by bdigital101, on Flickr
The welch car looks gorgeous! Out of interest, what kit were you shooting with and do you have any exif data available please?
Went to support my brother in an Invitational European Petanque competition in Nieuwegein, Holland this weekend and took my camera England by George.Yoda, on Flickr Orange Shirt by George.Yoda, on Flickr Pointing by George.Yoda, on Flickr My brother I'll be uploading some more over the coming days, used my 50mm 1.8 for most of them, some of the shots seemed to have dodgy focus, but I'm putting that down to me not using my camera for a while and so losing what little touch I had
For these pics I was using a 7d and a sigma 120-300 lens with the odd tc . In fact this was first outing with my new equipment. Happy to supply exif but on my phone at the moment. I must stress though that you don't need this sort of kit to get good results. You just need to know what your equipment can and can't do and work within those limitations. If you look at my flickr, all the images from 2012 were taken with a 550d and the kit lens or a basic 250mm zoom. I just had to shoot from different parts of the track because I couldn't reach from some places. P. S i am very much a beginner, ive come away from the weekend satisfied but knowing that there is so much I need to improve on, and it's nothing that can be done with better camera equipment. Its all skills, knowledge and experience that I need. Bring on the superbikes next weekend!
Turn up early (practice session?) to see where the best spot to shoot from might be. To add some action to your motorsport pics, try this:- Reduce your shutter speed a couple of notches, and panning with the cars as they pass you. It's how I got the prop blur on my air show pics earlier in the thread.
Thanks for that Love some of your shots, have added you on Flickr. Ive got a pan here which ive been a bit creative with the colours (I dont want all my images to be the same as everyone elses!) Rob Collard #5 - BMW M125 NGTC - Ebay Motors by bdigital101, on Flickr
Ok, more girly pics. If these get a bit much let me know and I'll tone them down. Paulina Shower by JazzXP, on Flickr

OMG bdigital... the Paddock Hill shot stands out soo much! Stunning composition, capture and the texture is great! Been really busy working on a new website and few other projects. Shot quite a lot but no time to even pop a card into a computer. Here's another car light painting I edited: Nissan 370z Nismo by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr
bdigital - great work!! And really pleased to hear what you're saying. I've just spent 4 months in the Italian Alps with a 7D, a 15-85 IS kit and a 70-200 f4 IS L and your shots look better than a lot of the ones I actually sold to people!
Wife is requiring some new shots for the spare room in pink and white, some of the first batch. Chrysanthemum on pink 1 by whisperwolf, on Flickr gerbera pink 2 by whisperwolf, on Flickr pink tulip 1 by whisperwolf, on Flickr
The second one is gorgeous whisperwolf, perfect focusing. I've just got back from a week snowboarding in the Alps. 360 by PGoodhead, on Flickr Graham by PGoodhead, on Flickr Snow cap panorama by PGoodhead, on Flickr Goggles by PGoodhead, on Flickr
Another one from yesterday's shoot. A concept I've had floating around my head for a couple of years (actually it hit me when I first met this model). Paulina Film Noir by JazzXP, on Flickr
The only thing that ruins this image is the smoking, I don't see how this adds to the image, just gives it a tacky feel. (look at me giving myself cancer). Smoking is one of my pet hates and promoting it is just stupid in my book. Smaller niggle is the left arm not sure if its the shadow not sure what's off about it, other then that its lit well & shot well.
