Really like this shot, maybe because it's so ridiculously clean and dust free! :p

too much vignette maybe? great angle though :naughty:

Incredibly soft, very smooth and shadowless - hair has come out fantastically! :thumb:

Hahaha, have you read her attempted apology?

Sexy ass watch! I'm really not getting on with it very well, didn't have a problem with the old one and I'm yet to see anything that's improved my overall experience...

When I saw this I thought it was the real background on a show stand! Great job!

Some from me! Dying to try film, so much so I'm actually starting to post process my shots to look like they are shot on film :worried: :sigh:
bear with me whilst I hunt for the share button on the fantastic new flickr................. :duh:

Something about that second one just makes me happy.

It'd be a perfect tumblr images with some heavily-serifed text (or, y'know, Helvetica) but whatever, I still like it.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was trying to do. Keep some movement in the shot.

I guess what I mean...Is that lots of motorsport photographers will just rattle off shots at high speed and are only concerned with 100% sharpness of the subject.

Whereas I like to go against that (especially with cars because they can looked parked if you shoot to fast) and I try to keep movement and speed in the image even if the entire subject isn't perfectly sharp.

This one really works for me because of the way it draws you in to the bonnet of the car.

In an ideal world, you'd get blurred background and a sharp subject, but 99% of the time it's just not possible. I'd rather get a sense of speed from a motorsport photograph than a tack-sharp, boring car frozen against a cluttered background.

You're winning as far as I'm concerned :thumb:

Two images, each with five blended exposures a day after each other. The first day I took the screw-in ND filters and used them on the 18-50, the second I forgot them like a chump and used a naked 10-20.

I say chump, the lighthouse is within walking distance (about an hour) of my place, hence the fascination with it. It's nice to hike there after dinner and sit watching the seals whilst waiting for the sun to go down.
