I've been busy with real life crap...
Had to get a dSLR fast for the upcoming wedding.
Manage to snag a nice mk3 used (with some battle damage)

Had no time to post, but was enjoying all the bike, racing, plane and other pictures from all of you.
Also had a tyre lose its air on me when coming back with the newly purchased camera. Was doing 65mph at a time, and the back of the bike started fishtailing like crazy. Manage to keep it together and then had to push for few miles to get off the highway.

Tonight coming back from work, saw a nice 458 Italia in my town, had to stop and snap a picture, especially as the Ferrari happen to not be in flames.

Also updated my website with some wedding and engagement pictures: http://neoscorner.com/events/

@Xir, that picture is of the Amber Fort in Jaipur, India.
@Whisperwolf, love the animal pictures. You should edit them a bit more. The stuff you can pull out of such nice captures can really take the image to the next level.

    NYC from New Jersey side:

Horse race, shot this with a Rebel T3i which became my backup camera after the 6D was gone:

Four eyes, two ponies, one child. It's kind of creepy in a cute sort of way.

I just got back from holiday in Canada, I've been getting into photography for the past year now, my shots aren't great as I'm still learning but here are some of my favourites tha I took on the trip:

I'd been playing with the black and white setting on my camera and when I put the pictures on my pc I came across this, which I rather liked:

Some of the pictures aren't exactly how I'd like them to be but the more I practice the better they will get hopefully!

Grey squirrel in my sister's flat. Stealing birdseed or making a phone call.

Genuine question here - is it at all common to have squirrels running around inside the house over there?

My sister feeds birds on her windowsill and this particular squirrel has learnt that the green bag of birdseed is kept just inside the window. It really likes the sunflower seeds and will come inside to look for them.

I think the more important question is - why is a squirrel that is emphatically not grey called a "grey squirrel"?

How do you make these without getting hit in the face? (or better, without them noticing...well...before)

What the heck did you do with the light in the ferrari shot? It's not as-taken, is it?

Thx for the feedback on the Fort

Aha, it's just luck I think! Shot a lot of these from the hip and just looked away/acted as casual as possible without being too casual :p
Put the camera on 'quiet' mode and took the shot and prayed I had it at the right angle and the dof was spot on, and voila!

Will be uploading some more soon from my olympus xa2, the little 35mm film camera with an almost silent shutter and it's pocket size so was a lot more brave with this one and took them at head height through the viewfinder, which is super quick as there is not auto focusing, only zone focusing and no shutter delay!

It also helps to suss out the position you're in, on a bus or a train, if you get caught out you're stuck on the there until the next stop which could make things very awkward and dangerous so I shot most of them out in a public area where I could attempt to run away :D

I almost felt safer doing it in another country with a language barrier than I would do doing it here at home, ignorance is bliss perhaps?

Compared to the red squirrel, this dude has only red highlights.

So.. walk up to people, put the camera in your crotch, look away and shoot?

So, yeah, Bristol. I think this is the closest 'proper' city to where I live; about four hours away by train. Most photos were taken with the K-x and a Sigma 18-50 because I had no idea what lens to use in this environment.

It was pretty dark by this point, a few minutes before the rain.

Got this uploaded the day after an Indian Navy submarine exploded in port. Pretty sad.

    That's a stunner Lenny!

I fancy it could do with a touch less exposure and a touch more contrast, but even as is, it's solid. :thumb:

Thanks :thumb: I'll probably play around with it some more in PP - tricky to get just right!

This one's a bit better exposure/contrast-wise but I much prefer the composition of the first.

Where were these shot? It's a breathtaking view.
