Thanks Asura, I'm recently obsessed with balancing ambient and fill light.

It might just be me, but the sharpening seems a bit aggressive on this.
EDIT: forgot pic again. Just a boring Mi-17 today.

Last of the zoo shots.
That look - "What?!"
Hungarian Gripen on a rainy day:
It's the same sharpening (lightroom default) I always use, but looking at it, it does look too much. This is the thing with this D7100 that I have to get used to. When I nail the focus with artificial lighting on skin, it takes some extra tweaking that I didn't have to do with the D700. Thx for the feedback.
Second C-17 for the Indian AF. Caught this last week:

I find it very difficult to critique your shots sometimes Jazz... They're often filled with distractions.
Yeah, I use the distraction technique to trick everyone into thinking I'm a decent photographer
Ok this is one I've been sitting on for a while (and it's been killing me). Phottix sent me a folding Beauty Dish to try and take some photos for them to put up on their site, they put it up this week! http://journal.phottix.com/weekly-photo/weekly-photo-paulina-phottix-luna/
