Geez! I wish I could get this kind of data on the wrecks I chase! It helps when the name is written on the stern, I suppose.

So today i went up the Spinnaker Tower, First time since my 18th, so, 7 years have past.
It also meant a new angle on HMS Illustrious.

I've been watching way too much Phlearn on YouTube... tweaked the colours in the shadows, but I think it balances the warmer tones I (deliberately) put in the rest of the image.

Those first two are epic, BD!

 

I've been out on that for a day trip, amazing ship, and then they did a fly over with a few jump jets and let me have a go at running a firefighting drill. I'm trying to track down the photos, it was about 3 years ago.

I thought they were decommissioning it?

I am kinda bummed by that shot. Bumped the mode dial to Av from M, didn't notice and ended up with underexposed shots. Had to push the pictures up 1.5 EV in post, didn't do them any favours in the quality department.
