I was once again out hiking in Glencoe yesterday and it felt like I was in Switzerland. Conditions were absolutely perfect. This is from my D7000 / 16-85 with a good bit of PP.
Just a friendly reminder for anyone who needs it, given I've had to ash-can a couple of posts in the last few days: this thread is for sharing photos you've taken yourself, not for hotlinking to iStockPhoto... without even paying to remove the watermark(!)
Sam, what an amazing display! I watched the unexpected transport plane aerobatics on YT a couple of days ago.
Yeah, Watching the C-27J in flight was massively impressive, sure it's small, but it's got the same engines as a C130, and the Italian test pilots who were doing the display, just managed to manoeuvre it in ways you would never consider. Sam

Took the day off, hired the Nikkor 180-600mm and went to Bournemouth Air Festival. The promise of seeing the Saab Vigen and Draken were promising. Sadly, the early part of the show i struggled to get ANY usable image, then, This: Avro Lancaster by Sam Masters, on Flickr Sam
