I suck at cropping and cutting a shot up, the second shot is a crop from the first, what do you think?
I think both are a little busy, but they're also very nice. I prefer #1. Good to have you back in this thread Greg
Alright. No probs.. but last from me.. sorry. correct.. I do stay indoor.. But still summer kills. And gujarat is a dry place.. no alcoholic drinks..
Please excuse the massive picdump. I have much to share and little time. Think of it as making up for all the posts I missed in the past week
Love the first one; that red "hum" in the top left corner is beautiful, makes the pic feel very summery. I say no to the crop
Soz for the up without a pic, but it's 2 AM now and it basically seems like a sunset out there. An hour before I could still see the sun and an hour from now I can see the sun, so it would deffo be the time to take some shots out there.
There was some confusion about the last shots (does the sun really shine at night or something) so last night I climbed a nearby ski jump tower and took this: That's taken at 3:33, ISO400, F8, 1/13 sec.
Oh thanks! I have to admit the railing seemed awfully low when coming down from there.. And generally the whole tower is in terrible condition.
Having a quick play around with a "proper" camera that isn't a straight up P+S, my Dad just splashed out on a Sony EX-5. This is one I snagged while messing around with a few settings and the 18-55. Not much compared to some of the pieces on here, but worth sharing methinks.
Again, not taken today, but I just found it from the drive. (Yeah you know, I rarely go through my pictures when it would be the least work, right after taking them or coming back home) Royal tourist guide! Taken outside the Royal Castle in Stockholm, Sweden. Such a funny situation.
Large Large Large Large Pentax K-x, Sigma EX DC Macro 18-50 Friend's wedding yesterday so took the Pentax, no flash and a single lens. I'd have liked to take the 70-300 APO, flash, filters etc, but didn't think it was appropriate to 'tool up' for the day.
