The idea was just to take a quick shot of my wood working spot, but I think the light/atmosphere got spot on.

Try using one of the focus points that are off center. The space from the heads to the top if the picture is huge and the bottom of the image is cut off. I'm not a "live and die by the rule of thirds man", but in this case it's really glaring.

Great wedding shot, but yeah I'd agree with Jumeira that the cropping (?) is a bit off.

I shot the moon again, a little faster this time. I think it's better, more detail and all that.

    And some boxes of soda:

Haven't posted in a while but I have been shooting as time permits. Here's a few recent favorites:

First we have the Bay Bridge in fog, shot from Embarcadero. It took some creative setup with the tripod to clear the railing, but I'm pretty happy with the result. I want to go back soon and shoot a horizontal pano of the same scene.

Next we have a scene from the south tufa of Mono Lake at sunset. The clouds blocked any chance of a good sunset, but they did add some interesting drama to the scene.

I was hoping someone would be out with their camera whilst there was a full/almost full moon recently ;) Beautiful shot!

Day one, of the two-day Clacton airshow...

I left early, as I found out my GTX 460 had returned from Scan, having been tested with no faults found.

Edit: Nice mono work btw, Tim.

Alright, so I thought I'd mess with the rules for this shot. Most of these have the traffic passing behind the car, but I wanted to see if it would look any different (better?) with the traffic in front of it instead. I'm fairly divided on the outcome myself, as has been the feedback I've received from others.

Looking to see what y'all have to say about it
