Huh. I saw that promotional image and thought the "Mara" character looked like the photographer lady (Charlene Amoia?) in the Steven Seagal film, "Sniper: Special Ops" ("thank" Amazon Prime Video for recommending that to me...). Although she never stands in that pose, so... yeah. Well, whatever.
Wait you can copyright something as generic as a black haired female soldier in a standard resting stance?
That said the hair really does look copied!

It's one of these situations that seem to crop up surprising regularly where it would be so easy to be heavily *inspired by* the original work to the same effect but make any claim of copyright infringement ridiculous, but instead they went the whole hog and ripped if off in such minute and unnecessary detail that it seems pretty clear cut. I hope Activision have to write a nice fat cheque for once.
