I apologize for the external linking, but there are simply too many photos. Also, I know my site may get choppy for those with slower computers - that's due to Flash and my liberal use of blur effects, but I hope you won't get on my ass about usability and just enjoy it for what it is - photography!

B-e-a-u-tiful gallery SCQ! Being an out of place Asian, Toronto has impressed me deeply, especially Markham.

ps. the controls didn't work for me, had to keep clicking the canister for next pic.

Some nice shots, however the site is just so hard to use (and read) I got bored of trying after a while :/

My problem as well, having to reclick the canister every time, and only being able to see the first 5 from each can is a major turn off

Love the gallery idea - it needs a bit of tweaking, but the concept's fantastic.

Some nice photos in there too, I like the U of T ones. :D

You can scroll to see more. I'm thinking of remaking the gallery, but I like the current style a lot.

The reason the canister retracts is because I don't want it hindering the photo, and moving it out of the frame would look bad. Perhaps have the canister retract/extend with a mouseout/over?

    I'll figure something out sometime.

Haha... out of place and Asian in Toronto!? That doesn't work! The city is so multicultural, it'd be hard to pinpoint what exactly defines "minority" in a semantic sense.

Cheers on the nice shots there.

Though, I do kinda agree on the difficulty of control on the site. Nice idea though.

What's it like taking shots in the center of the universe? I'm from Calgary, so there are a few things here. Not sure what stuff is about on that side of the country.

I'm actually from Calgary as well, but I study in Toronto. Still, that means a lot of time in Calgary. The reason that I don't have a lot of Calgary photos is because the city itself tends to be uninspiring architecturally.

Toronto is pretty much Calgary with more tall buildings, more culture, and more life.
