[Photos] Few things from the last month

I've always had an interest in photography so after a lot of humming n harring, I went out and bought a EOS 350D about a month ago now.

Here are the photos I actually thought were OK from the few I've taken so far, I'm still learning so hope you like ...

#6 is an great picture. I like the colours.

 

the shot of the moon is amazing, how did you get that? what lense are you using?

 

I like them all Shame the last one is slightly blurred though

 

thanks, I took that with a Canon 75-300mm telephoto lens with a 2 second shutter time and the countdown timer to shoot so that I wouldn't ruin the photo by jogging the camera if i pressed shoot, I really need to get a remote for this camera. This was also taken on a tripod I made out of a poker chip despenser (the edges were great to hold the lens) and three dvd cases for the angle all sat on a chair ... worked a charm (get paid tomorrow so getting a tripod )

oh and I added #2 as it wasn't working when I first made the post

 

Very nice shots, really like the first one though
