Went to the Horseshoe pass in Wales on Sunday in my mates car, was a nice drive with some good weather. Anyway, he wanted to go to get some nice pics of his car. I've just finished photoshopping one of them, any feedback is very welcome, i'm fairly newish to this still. Before Photoshop. After Photoshop. Won't be to everyones taste no doubt, and its not perfect, but just thought i'd show.
I think it needs some serious cropping to draw the focus to the reflection of the car - which is very striking. Not so keen on the rest of it though.
I would have been tempted to rotate the pic so the car was more level, crop the pic and darken the sky to remove the slight over exposure. Had a quick bash to show you what I mean.
I had a quick bash too, pretty much exactly the same idea, but I boosted the green in the picture and added a black border forgot to rotate it, but good idea.
I've had a quick go too; I've would've gone in this direction although it will need more work because the sky is over-exposed and the image has noise.
Cars, dramatic scenery, and HDR rendering.... made for each other a little rough and ready... only have a little while before I go to work.
I don't know, HDR doesn't always do it for me tbh, looks too fake, but it can yield some dramatic results.
Someone please explain the methods of doing HDR in photochop cs2? please? If it's easy mind, I dont want someone to pop a ball over it.
I've found the HDR in CS2 to be a bit dodgy most of the time, Photomatrix has got some great results for me however. Give this guide a shufty.
love this... try it the same in black and white - lots of contrast.. would do it myself but i'm at work on a computer that has something silly like windows 1990
Agreed. CS2 is rubbish at HDR. Photomatix is MUCH better. here you go... a nice tritone image for you.
