Evian Mineral Water Cooled as well. Looks well impressive!
Couple of pics of the SR2, now with the 580's and some serious cable tidying.
That rig is crying out to be water cooled those thermaltake frios don't do the build justice
I know, I know, I know!
I was about to take the plunge with the full EK set, but then the 3gb 580's popped up...
I hope to do it soon.
Sweet rig Bennie
The red, white and black colour scheme looks sharp.
@bennieboyUK. In the geekbench thread you're listed as your rig running at 3.97GHz. Your sig says 3.5GHz. Which is correct?
Currently 3.5ghz. Working towards 4ghz, I have a new stability issues above 3.8, just not found the time to iron them out.
The Geekbench I ran was 3.07 I think, where is the reference to 4ghz, can't find it.
Sorry.. typo... meant to be 3.07GHz.
If you're at 3.5... run a Geekbench.
Will do, I've got my Sunday medal at 12, so will do it later tonight
damn benni. a serious nice looking computer there. i actually your cooling setup. i see wc too much. i think your air coolers add a nice touch especially as it goes really well with the other colours
Serious hardware porn going on there guys - makes me want to do better on my rig and i have plans...........
Whoa folks, so many nice comments about my rig. Thanks for all the positives! Even though it is air cooled, has taken a long time to put together and choosing the right parts as much as the putting it together.
So much is down to this forum, so that to everyone that has helped with advise and tips!
Still ALOT to do on it, but slowly getting there Gimme another 12 months!
i was so bored today that i decided to tidy up the cables (even on the back of the case )
Love how clean this build is, just such a shame that ATI card has those red lines on the side - I smell a mod coming on for you!
Awesome none the less.
hey ficky i noticed that you dont have a rear exhaust fan does that not affect your case temps?
as for the card i do have some black self adhesive vinyl lying around, i never thought about using it to cover the red parts...
nope, no difference in temps whatsoever.
wow! well done pal! i have a pretty much identical setup, but with a different cooler, and the back of my PC is a MESS!
I am inspired Pics to follow...
