Yes. Yes it does. And a test of the LED strip. The top half is lit up better than the pics show, but once the fans are on it'll get more lighting.
Hole: Filled. I was horrified when the box containing the GPU turned up as it looked like Interlink had been playing rugby with it. Tentatively popped it in and nothing: utterly deflated. Reseated it and we have lift off... re-inflated... until windows fires up with massive screen corruption... deflated again. A bit of tinkering and tampering later, reset BIOS defaults and all systems go, currently running on the "latest" HP certified driver (332.50... fairly ancient in driver terms) whilst the latest ODE driver downloads. My first discrete GPU since... 8800GTX!
Post Your AMD Rig Pictures I'd love to see some pictures of everyone's AMD rigs, so please feel free to share some images. I've just finished rebuilding mine, which I've called The Red Baron. It's whisper quiet. :nerd: Resized Spoiler 4K Spoiler
2011 rig? Tsk tsk, the taskmasters will be displeased at your betrayal looks nice though. What case is it in and how is your airflow going? I'd imagine that'd be a fair amount of heat going through the front rads to have them as intakes?
Fair questions. Case is a Corsair 750D, so quite spacious. You're right about the heat, however the bottom two fans suck out the heat dumped by the lowest radiator and the rear fan and H110 GTX fans suck out the heat dumped by the top rad. So far, it's working perfectly and quietly, but I've only tested a few hours of GTA V at 4K. I've undervolted the 295x2's by -0.060v running at stock clocks which has reduced the heat output nicely. I've got the fans running silently at the moment as the gpu usage of all 295x2's is only around 45-65%, which is handled comfortably. A true test will come when all gpu's are running at 99% full load, i expect then i will have to raise the fan speeds on the 2,000 RPM Industrials to cope with that. Got a Lamptron fan controller on the front which i use to control the 295x2 rad fan speeds. So far so good. I'm going to be getting a Phanteks Enthoo Primo next month in preparation for something i can't talk about. I'm sure you understand.
Taken this saturaday after I changed the stock cooler on my 290X for a Corsair HG10 with a H60 AIO....... Nothing special, but exceeds my requirements and should last me another year before I upgrade to a DDR4 based platform.
