Damn, some of you need to learn how to resize pictures !! The size Bit-tech resizes them is fine, you don't need to upload/download huge 3264x2448 images !!!
I disagree. With a thread like this you sometimes need to zoom in to see detail. Bit will display them in a forum friendly size if you don't need it big. If they're taking too long to download, then perhaps people need to learn how to optimise images, or find faster hosting... but the sizes are fine.
So long as they're decent quality pictures. There's nothing worse than waiting for a high-resolution photo to load only to find out it's completely out of focus or was taken on a mobile phone.
Actually, that's a very good point. Phones make me laugh. 8mega pixel sensor, and a lens that can't resolve even half that detail, and a focusing system that struggles to focus on anything in conditions lower than brilliant sunshine. Result? Massive file that contains no more detail than a 2mp image would.
Here's my rig. External Closer shot from side panel (PSU was my old Cooler Master) CCFLs on from side panel And the guts and glory Toys for me to play with. Thought I'd post the pics of my toys; This is my gaming rig. It's a Core 2 Duo E7400 overclocked to 3.06GHz on a EVGA 680i SLI mobo with a Sparkle nVidia 8800GT 512MB for GFX and an XFX nVidia 8500GT for PhysX, a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi FPS 64MB RAM sound card with front drive bay, two 1TB Samsung F1's in RAID 0 for games and data, an 80GB Seagate barracuda 7200.11 for OS's, 2x2GB's Kingston HyperX 8500 DDR2 overclocked to 1333MHz. It's all powered with a lovely Enermax Galaxy 1000 DXX II PSU. Front view; The internals; From the gaming seat(well bed actually); This one's just my P2P Celeron 2.93GHz overclocked to 3.37GHz on an ECS RS400-A mobo with on-board ATI Radeon Express 200 GFX, 2x1GB's of Kingston DDR2 667MHz overclocked to 823MHz, a 320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12. All powered by a Thermaltake 560W Xaser III Silent Power PSU. Front view; Internals; These are my other bits, that amongst other up and coming rigs, became a water cooled Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 stepping monster, Project: Air con(see link in sig). It an ASUS Striker Extreme SLI mobo with 2x2GB's OCZ DDR2 8500 SLI 1200MHz RAM for my movie and audio converting/editing. The insides of the beast; The other one, which will be in the Dell(Hell) case, is just goint to be a Pentium E2200 on an Biostar 7050V-M7 with 2x1GB's of OCZ DDR2 6400 SLI 800MHz RAM. The opperating room; I know it looks like I've got more than I need but I'm studying Advanced networking with security and messaging so it's very handy to have a network to use for practical work. I did get most of the bits off ebay for a bloody bargain as well. Just to give you an idea, the ASUS Striker Extreme mobo was only £17 as the seller thought it was faulty. I just love computers.
Here's mine: This is where it now lives in Bristol. As you can see nearly all the desk is dedicated to it.
