What is going on now? My photoshop is lagging out sooo bad now ever since i reformated. I actually delelted partitions on my harddrive and i have 56gb of space on my c drive now and its lagging out? Why me? Can anyone help me out, im desperate now, Thanks guys. Can i shut off windows paging file system or whatever it is?
Hmm to me it looks like Photoshop might have used that partition that you've deleted for it's cache, and now that it's gone maybe it decided only to use RAM cache or something. I'm not sure what happened, but I am almost certain that you can easily fix the problem by going to File>Preferences navigating to Memory and Cache check the settings out, set how much RAM you will allow Photoshop to use, and then navigate to Batch or Drive Cache preferences and select the partition you want Photoshop to use as a cache. (sorry for not clear directions as I just installed Vista Pre-RC 1 and I don't have photoshop)
