Software Photoshop object removal request

    Been trying to remove the 7UP can in the background of this image for a while with the GIMP but not getting anywhere really, thought some of you PS wizards might be able to do a much better job. I want to blow it up to poster size for a going to uni present for my other half, so the less noticeable the better obviously.
