    is photoshop elements a cut down version of photoshop?

    very very cut down. but essentially similar.

    is a tooooo much cuted down version... it is an elemental version (that´s why element)

    My school art department has about 6 imacs and 2 G3 Power PCs. The imacs used to have Photo Deluxe installed, not quite the same as photoshop, but still alright, but recently, I went to use Photo Deluxe and found "Elements". I was very dissapointed.
