actually, the ezekiel quote was a few lines before that....in that image, they are shooting at the guy that came out of the washroom with the quote "hand cannon thats bigger then he was"......the guy comes out, shouts die mother $%*$%, and then fires at them missing every shot...thats when vincent says it was luck, but jules racks it up to devine intervention that they are not dead (of course setting jules on course to giving it all up)....then they both turn to shoot at the guy, resulting in the picture you see on the wall.....
Yeah, I noticed that poster a while back, and still haven't seen the movie. (teenage politics was my favorite MxPx CD) I got the Tooth & Nail Vidography, all their videos up to the year 2000 on one DVD Wo0t! (just to over-emphasize the forum character I'm portraying): I knew the director and he was telling me that he thought he should put a poster on the wall of a video, and I said "how about that guy that looks like something from afrotechmod's page?" and he found that one.... okay I didn't, but that would be funny if I did..
Love that film I could quote you the whole burger scene if I were sad enough It's the little things in the film that do it for me, did you see how much sugar honey-bunny put in her coffee? ...and the one who rejects the miracle and god is the one who dies in the next scene Ack I should shut up... r.
How much sugar does she put in her coffee? I can't say I've ever noticed. I'm going to have to get the movie and have a good look now.
She puts a lot in. Which adds to her complete hyperactive stylee. Also, her lines are different in the scenes at the beginning & end that are supposed to be the same. I noticed that first time I saw it... also got the "flashback humour" in Fight Club first time I saw it... I must learn to watch films without thinking too much! Ruined the 6th Sense for me cos I worked it all out straight away... unfortunately said it kinda loud right at the beginning too which probably ruined it for all around me too.... oops! So, what do you reckon was in the briefcase? Was it Marcellus Wallace's soul?
i have no idea what was in the breifcase but from what i can figure out it was probsbly something like heroine as they got the breifcase off a group of smart kids living in a grotty apartment which says to me dropouts making drugs & the fact that when the breficase was opened vincent says someting along the lines of "oh yea were cool" (i dont have the tape @ hand so i cant verify) & this is a bloke that has jsut come back from amsterdam, probsbly msashed off his face all the time so when he sees a brefcase full of drugs he will be overjojed & in the restaurant the would be theif (tim roth i think his name is, whatever it is he was fantastic in buletproof i think it was staring along side 2pac) opens it & says is that what i think it is so it was obviousely something he recognised which also says drugs in my mind mabey im just mentally unhinged
the 'rumor' is that it's Marcellus Wallace's soul in the case, hence how it glows and is 'beautiful'. Also note band-aid (plaster) on the back of Marcellus' neck. I believe the line immediately following that was "we just witnessed a miracle" And the line before it "you didn't tell me there was a guy there with a god damn hand cannon" I have it on vcd here at the office. One of the greatest movies ever, the whole "what" scene cracks me up every time. S.
I'd go with drugs in the case and any who question the golden glow in the miracle scene... well clearly the case was yellow ccfl modded r.
The idea was that Marcellus sold his soul to the Devil & then wanted it back. The combination to open it was '666' & they didn't get shot by the kid with the 'hand canon' cos they were saving a soul. Unfortunately this is just a really well thought up idea & the fact is it's a MacGuffin. Why stop at yellow CCFL? Maybe it was a Briefcase PC mod?
