3. A, C, B
We got 50 votes so far - please keep them coming! The great news are, however, that even if no one else casts his vote, we have already reached the required minimum I posted (50 votes by February 1st). I have also included your price/performance/size preference (below I am showing how they were calculated). It's an amazing discovery for me that smallest size is your least concern, while best price/performance was (almost) tied for 1st place:
Number of times highest priority (3 points awarded)
A (Price) 22
B (Size) 6
C (Performance) 16
Number of times medium priority (2 points awarded)
A (Price) 11
B (Size) 11
C (Performance) 21
Number of times lowest priority (1 point awarded)
A (Price) 10
B (Size) 27
C (Performance) 6
Total points awarded:
A (Price) 98
C (Performance) 96
B (Size) 67

Although it would be great to have a cheap small x86 board, I think the cost will end up being way too high.
Someone might have beaten you to it: https://plus.google.com/+AMD/posts/bYFw9QfHgYq
The intel NUC is the same size (4"x4") and way more powerful than this development-board.
We're talking about the size of a pico-ITX board here, which is half the size.
Not entirely. Pico-ITX is 3.9 × 2.8, so it's an inch less in 1 dimension. The smaller you go the more PCB layers or special connectors you need though, which means more cost.
Thanks - I just heard about it. In fact, 3 more people (besides you) sent me a link to this board on other media (2 on Facebook and 1 on other forum). This just means that I have to try to make my board better AND cheaper
On a side note, I didn't have internet connection to write an update on Friday, but the required number of votes has decreased to 100, and you have time till this Friday, February 1st 24:00GMT to cast your vote.
Voting ends this Friday at midnight GMT, and here's what I managed to find for prizes:
1) Mini-Box M350 fanless mini-itx case
2) Mini-box pico-PSU-120WI-25V (20 pin)
3) Mini-box Pico-PSU-150-XT
4) Commell MPX-3132 2x SATA II mini-PCIe card (add 2 more SATA ports to your mini-ITX NAS)
5) KingSpec 32GB CompactFlash card 600x speed
I have multiplies of some of the prizes, so if 2 or more winners want to get the same thing, I think I will be able to do so. All prizes include shipping to your address (excluding countries that Israel can't ship to).
Voting closes tomorrow midnight - your last chance to vote and get prize.
Voting closes today at midnight GMT - don't miss your chance!
That case is exactly what I am after
Good prizes! Cheers!
Glad you like it, hopefully the random thing selects you as one of the winners.
There is 6 hours left till the voting closes. Note: I won't be able to connect to the internet at the time the voting closes because I would be sleeping (it's 2AM in Israel), but the voting still ends as planned, tonight midnight GMT time.
The voting has closed on Friday. Thank you everyone who participated. The final results and the winners will be announced in a few days.
