Which one? There where sooo many! :D

(I'm guessing you mean the DBR9. Shame it only came third in the GT1 class, behind both the ugly, loud, slow but ultimately more reliable Corvettes.)

    An Olympus C770UZ

Unfortunately not - but I have seen them elsewhere, and yes, definitely trouser accident material!

Pirate - That DBR9 is the one that failed to finish - fuel pump problems we where led to believe by Radio Le Mans. The yellow snouted 59 car came third, even after spending an hour in the pits in the closing stages of the race!

And the Astons where on pole for the start of the race, after blitzing the guide times the AOC had set for GT1 cars. They (the Astons) are much faster than the Corvettes - it's just they need a bit more reliability. And of course, 3rd (9th overall) isn't so bad, and it does mean that they'll be back next year.

Well done to the Champion Racing team's R8 for coming 1st overall and 1st in the LMP1 class - It's a shame that the GT4 sponsored Pescorolo Judd's couldn't quite catch him. The whole of LeMans would have gone mental had they won... :D

Oh - and don't forget that the Lola MG won the LMP2 class. ;)

They don't have a winner's circle at Le Mans... Cars go into "Park Ferme" to be inspected post race.

    le mans videos

hey GreatOldOne how soon are the videos going to be up? im real keen to see the dbr9 in action in lm. i think the 2005 24 heures du mans was just an unlucky thing for the aston martins because they were on their way to wasting those stupid ass corvettes. cant wait to watch this years le mans so i can see astons beat corvettes. that will teach them for getting dodge vipers unfairly kickd out of le mans

Dude, check the date of the last post before you make a post. This thread has been dead for nearly a year.
