damn, finally get round to getting a A64 RBX a few weeks back, still havent fitted it and now they bring this out... damn. Bet it performs at least as good as the RBX but with less of a tubing mess. :wallbash:

To be honest with you the way it is designed looks as if it is optimised for retangular dies (tbred/barton) as oppose to square dies of the A64/P4 (like the RBX) so its probably not going to be alot lot better

Still they may have made other changes apart from turning the channles through 90deg which could make it better.

sorry, im just saying what i see, and as far as ive seen, they havent really designed any of their own blocks since the maze 2, theyve just copied the best designed blocks of the time and brought their own version out a month or so later.

the maze 3 was a copy of one of the ocpc blocks, the maze 4 and rbx were copies of cathars blocks, and this appears to be a copy of the jet inmngement block cathar is doing.

They might not be original but they are hardly copies. Yes the rbx uses the same principle of the cascade but apart from that they are quite different. They'd be foolish to ignore R&D done by hardcore enthusiasts. I dont condone their work ethics but at least they bring high(ish) performance blocks to the masses which is always a good thing because it pushes the real pro's harder to innovate.

DangerDen are the Intel of the Watercooling world. Most people hate them but at the same time they still manage to be the most popular. :hehe:

The thing is there's only so many ways you can design a water block. And if they know what makes the best performing blocks work they're hardly going to produce a lesser one using old methods.

Personaly I think they should do their own R&D to find out what makes the best waterblocks but I don't think they should try and sell inferior blocks.
