Just wandered what everybody on here thought of piercings, which ones you like, whether you think they are socially acceptable.. I love mine. I have 10 of the wee beasties now, my favourites being the cluster of three that live on my navel so thoughts please everyone. and ideas for my next one. I was thinking possibly a transverse lobe would be fun.

sounds like fun left lobe couple cartilage in left ear left tragus two on the right lobe right anti-tragus 3 on my navel in a little star kind of configuration. I want to get my nose done. But my girlfriend won't let me (my partner is more powerful than my parents, and I'm only 16. deary me) maybe I'll stretch my lobes back up again...
My girlfriend doesn't like my septum or smiley piercings...I either wear a niobium retainer or a small black acrylic circular barbell. *n
2mm lobes (tiny, I know ) but I'm moving them up to a bit bigger soon. nothing else, but in a few weeks I hope to get a tragus to anti-tragus orbital (I'l be the freakin' man then!) I'm still a minor, so no studio will do any piercings below the neck (except navel, but I'm not interested in that) penski, where is your lip piercing (ie labret, side, ashley, medusa?)
Nips 2mm Lobes 14mm PA 6mm Piercings are awesome. The nips and the PA were both done freehand, so instead of a quick dash of pain in the area, I got a slow instense sensation. Bloody lovely.
Wait. You're still a kid. Wait until you've established yourself in an industry where you can do this until you do permenant mods. I know it sounds arsey but hell...I've been getting pierced since I was 12 (stupid) and I only got my ears pierced 8 months ago. Make sure you heal it as two seperate piercings. There is a reason for that...people do not stop growing fully until their early twenties. Getting piercings before this is foolish as when your body grows the piercings will shift and migrate. I made the mistake of getting my tongue pierced when I was far too young...as I have grown, the piercing has shifted quite far forwards on my tongue...now only an inch back from the tip and, even though it is nice and big at the moment, I wish it were further back... Center of my lower lip, positioned perfectly so that it does not go anywhere near my teeth. When I get home tonight, I'll post a couple of pics. *n
I was thinking about getting two surface piercings, one either side of my neck. One end being just below my ear and the other further back so it is covered by hair.
There is a lot of movement in that area...Mark with a pen two dots where you'd like them to be and measure the distance between them. Then get a friend to measure how the distance changes as you move your neck. if there is more than 1mm or so then it will be very difficult... Theo - got to agree on the freehand thing...my madison was done in about ten seconds (so nice) *n
i only ever had my eyebrow done felt great and i loved it but when it fell out i couldnt find the time to get it done again. and theres always working in construction with piercings. ears, lips tongue etc are ok, its juts i wouldnt want any of them to get ripped out :S
I havent got any -did consider getting my bellybutton pierced once but then i saw a program on TV showing me how they do it etc and what could happen and it put me off for life. I think they can look good on some people but others it doesnt -bit like tattoos
Currently i only have: 1.6 medusa 1.6 lip But in total over the 6 years i've been pierced i've had: 2 x nostril piercings 1.6 lowbret (below the lip, so with the medusa i had 3 in a line. I loved the look, but the lowbret irritated my mouth/gums something chronic) 1.6 third eye (vertical bridge piercing, which i adored but migrated out in 4 months) I'd like to get my navel done a few times, but i need to work on my abs first I'm also considering small lobe tunnels, but no more facial piercings as i'm anal about symmetry.
I'm a stickler for symmetry too...Hence both lobes being the same size, wearing identical jewelery and all other piercings being on my body's center line... *n
Bloody hell, why do I have to have a job where I can't get visible piercings.. (Well, I could, but it wouldn't help my career any)
