Just seen the first episode, i must say what they had to work with and what they achieved was pretty impressive. Be nice if someone would buy me a 7mp digital cam

i love the American show but the cars in the UK one seem to be "pimped" better than the us ones. the only thing that gets me is that they spend all the money making it look nice but not go any faster. whats the point in having a car that looks like its fast if it still takes 25 seconds to do 0-60?

what the hell were mtv thinking?? westwood is the worst presenter ever... yes even worse than timmy mallet, and the way he tries to talk like he is a black gangster is pathetic and gets on my tits

the overall show was just straight up busted lol it was a rip from the american one, all the ppl in the garage looked uneasy because they had to act like the american lot, which is just stupid! were not like them ffs.

they could easily keep the format for the show but add some good old british humour, instead of that retarded sit round a table and nod at everything westwood and the owner says they dont get that we dont talk like they do.

i wish they changed the style and presenter of the show because the cars that have been done so far are great the latest - fiat panda 750cc amazing!

but the thing what has always got me with this show (american one included) was that they upgrade the alloys, breaks, interior etc but the do sweet fook all to the engine i mean if i had a car lookin as good as them i'd want to be able to get to 60mph before the end of the motorway lol and not be beaten from the lights by a granny in a rover 100

 

the first 3 were a bloody joke, but the forth one with the fiat panda looked like they were making it their own show. alot better to watch imo.
maybe it was a matter of time before they wouldnt try to imitate the US lot.

westwood does seem to be accident prone though or just plain clumsy.
in the golf episode he crashes into the guys own house, and in the panda one he cracks his head on the tailgate!
i dont know whether im getting used to him or whether he is getting better or not. but he is a real life ali g.

personally when i first saw pimp my ride uk, i felt offended and embarrassed by westwood, now i just find him very very funny.

 

Now ive watched all four episodes, i think the morris and the panda were the best. Apart from the trailor for the ramp on the back, that was just silly. The seats in the panda were just plain class imo. But then i dont have much taste.
Westwoods stupidity is funny, he isnt.

I agree with you guys, Westwood is a loser, the cars are ridiculous, and the presenting all feels very 'forced'. However, the latest one seems to be a lot better, I think the guys are getting used to being in front of a camera and saying scripted lines.

I have to watch it near a toilet though because otherwise Westwood makes me piddle all over the floor - he's THAT comical.
