if you know please can you tell me the exact p2p technologies that pipex block/choke/throttle in any way and the maximum ammount of data i can download before my connection gets managed?
i know for certain that these are choked:

bottorrent: (wont go above 20 KB/s)
emule: (wont do above 20 KB/s)

HTTP/FTP/XDCC seem to Be OK, the included usenet is slow regardles because its a free 10gb included with the package- from GigaNews, with also 20 KB/s limit.

Well for a start what is your connection speed, for 1mb the max you can really get out it is 120kb/s (you can work out other connections from there...)
