Windows Pirates crack the Nintendo DS

    The GBA was cracked pretty quickly too. There are some really efficient emulators available for that system.

    I guess it's just inevitable.

    Got a link? I read an article saying the DS was being pirated and it had a picture of a PassMe. :duh:

    All a PassMe does is allows you to run homebrew code on a DS from a flashcart. You can also dump the contents of a DS card onto your computer, but so far no-ones been able to do anything with them. You can't run them on a flash cart and you can't run them in an emulator. They're essentialy useless.

    I'm not saying it won't be cracked but it seems the people reporting about it don't have a clue what they talking about.

    hackers see the first one, and nintendo sees the second of course.

    I don't want to imagine a PC emulator for the DS though, using the touchscreen could be a bit tricky I think. Unless it's FPS style and clicking for tapping.

    But as with anything electronic, it's simply a matter of time.
