I don't think you understand the concept of double negative. Double negative always turns into positive. :p

Rat meat cost more than pigs... beside... Rat burger taste good. Demolition Man likes it.
Clip in French, no clip in English, sorry.

    It could be worse:

The crust could be filled with KFC Double Down sandwich (that thing if you are not in the U.S):
(2 processed cheese slice or "American cheese" as U.S calls it, 2 fried chickens, some creamy sauce, and 2 bacon slices.
This small sandwich (smaller than the picture), has 610 calories, and more salt than in a salt shaker with its 1880mg of sodium. YUMMY!

Now imagine that IN the crust of Pizza Hut pizza... It's so Frankenstein'ish that I feel like pulling an evil scientist laugh. MMMWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

So much hate for a bit of "meat" in a pizza. Have you lot heard of pink slime? You probably won't enjoy that either.

    Yep.

I'd rather eat a double down than a pizza hut pizza [of any kind]

LIES!... school dinners are nowhere near that good...

I wasn't going to comment, but as everybody now is chirping in! I have school dinners sometimes (I work at a school, see) and they are noway near as bad as you guys are making out. Lots of veg on offer every day, pasta with decent sauces, salad etc. Sure there are fatty dishes, but as we are a healthy school they have to be only once or so a week (we only have chips once a week) and have to be limited to a certain fat content.

So yeah, actually school dinners aren't that bad everywhere.

So that people don't have to hold pizza in one hand and the hotdog in the other, leaving a hand free for full fat Coke/Buckfast or screaming little Wayne....

I just feel sick. Can anyone guess how many calories are in a medium MaccyD's "fries"?

I also work in a secondary school. You must work in a good school, because that certainly isn't the case for the vast majority of schools in Britain.

Just because they have healthy food on offer doesn't mean anyone buys it. I'v walked in the dining room and watched what the vast majority eat - it's crap, and lots of it. Pizzas, burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and gravy, and then cookies and muffins for desert or some other high salt/high sugar dish, oh and it'll all be washed down with some kind of sugary drink.

Hate to say it, but this is another area where the government is failing in relation to education (if you can even call it that).

At my high school, when I was a kid, cafeteria food was actually very healthy. If I remember correctly, only once a year they offered chicken nuggets, and that was at the end of the school year. And even then.. the chicken nuggets was not oily, lightly fried, and when you east it, you felt like you were eating the good parts of the chicken, and it was not put into a paste. So the shapes where different for each nugget. I won't be surprised if they did them at school, as they felt very home like. That was the most junk I got. Fresh fruits were given at the end of the lunch. They were passing with big bowls of fruits and giving apples, oranges, and such to every students.

Although, I was in private school, and the cafeteria food, if you had your parents choose to register you, was on the "expensive side" compared to other schools. A cool thing is if you felt like going to eat once, let's say your parents or you didn't get time to make a lunch, for 5$ you could go eat at the cafe. Trust me.. 5$ you are LUCKY to even get McDonald quality here, if you go out and eat. I did that a few times. The only thing that sucked there was the salad.. the dressing was like those Kraft ones.. but aside from that minor thing, I find it pretty to very healthy.

OK my turn! I worked for KFC, as a cook, sorry correction 'trained chef' that's what it says on the wrappers lol!

Now, as for salt content, KFC can never tell you exactly how much salt is in their product because as the cook, I could have mixed the breading flour with less or more salt than recommended, nobody would notice and there would be no consequence for me unless an examiner was watching me do it.

Furthermore, as if working for KFC wasn't soul destroying enough, every single day I would watch these absolute ****ing morons line up to eat this crap, worse yet, hand over money for it. As employees we were entitled to eat, drink or even bathe in the stuff for free, all day, every day yet most of us chose not to.

I would stand there, peering to the front from my breading station and friers listening to these tools, many of which were with friends talking about how they knew what went into KFC and how they knew how things were prepared and even how they were food connoisseurs. Obviously this was always a load of crap. I always wondered if they had seen me that morning, cleaning the black oil out of the friers that stained my arms, would they be so keen to pay for that.....chicken. As for the chicken, when it comes in it needs cleaning, breading, then cooked. At my time there I was one of the few cooks to bother my arse cleaning the bloody giblets out of the original chicken, often on the breast pieces I would find windpipes or even the odd heart.

And the popcorn, zingers, hot wings etc? Frozen processed crap much of the time, sometimes we got zingers and hot wings that were breaded but not often.

hmmm, nope. When I was in school my food was more than satisfactory, I would say the same for all of my nephews and nieces attending school at the moment too, it's better food than they would get if left to their own devices (see above)

All schools in this city, just don't offer the crap, and havn't done for many years now.

Well I know that about KFC. The calories and sodium numbers are from KFC Canada website. In Canada, they need to pull an average out of sample space (all detailed in the regulations). So you get an idea. Also, it's not the 100mg sodium less or more that will do anything with such high number already.

Personally I think a bit of junk food here and there during the year, is fine, especially if you go at the gym or do a lot of physical activity. The problem is that most people don't, and eat there several times a week. Now this is where you have the "absolute ****ing morons line up to eat this crap, worse yet, hand over money for it" as you say.

Yep! I saw the same people day after day, they seemed to walk in the door with a smug look of pride on their faces but this was more than likely my imagination trying to justify brutal murder.

Standard "Government is in charge government say what we all do!".

Schools aren't there to teach your child EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING. If you have a problem with the food they serve, send your child to school with a packed lunch and a lesson of your own in why they get a packed lunch and not a school meal. Better yet, teach them what good food is and let them decide for themselves. Not letting kids eat crap every so often is child abuse!

Teachers even got the blame for the London riots, I mean... wtf?!
