Hello, I'm looking for an affordable place to stay in London near the North Circular Road. Near the "Ace Cafe" to be precise. (crawling distance preferred) As we'll just be some bikers, it doesn't have to be too nice. Cheap will do Does anybody have some advice? Best regards, Xir
The closest I have personal experience of is Palmer's Lodge. It's a hostel just off Finchley Road and prices start at £12/night. Free parking inside Zone 2 though. Probably 15 minutes drive to the North Circular.
Nice idea, but I doubt it's possible to campt in a public park Hmmm, how long does the tube run? I see there's "Stonebridge Park" station right there...
Ahhh Ace cafe on the north circular, don't bother staying anywhere near there. Its a complete industrial area. Lots of warehouses and manufactuers all have units there. Your choices are: Wembley/Alperton: Don't bother, no hotels there and its where the govt puts all the asylum seekers. Its not as good as it was when i used to live near there. Neasden/Harlsden: Again don't bother, chances of ur bikes getting stolen are high as getting mugged. Proper ghetto areas. Park Royal: There is a Holiday Inn and a few vairous smaller hotel chains so could be hopeful there. Greenford/Ealing : plenty of nice places there but its getting further away from the Ace Cafe. Take a look at Hostelworld.com
You've never been to Neasden or Harlsden then. I'm 6'7" & still lock my car doors driving through there.
