The amount of bellends that play this is insane. The clever dick who parks a Liberator smack in front of my Mosquito so when I take off, I fly right into you then end up upside down. ****.

 

If you hold down left or right and tap spacebar, your ESF should shift left or right, at which point, you can hit full throttle and AWAAAAY!

Also, if it's in the warpgate, do a /report on the player doing it, as they will get a warning and if they continue, an account-wide ban. Higby (Creative Director for PS2) has already said that griefing in the warpgate is a bannable offence).

 

This game finally clicked for me over the weekend. I joined the PC Gamer outfit, fired up Mumble and wow what a difference it made. The battles are truly epic; some of the best gaming I've had in years!

 

Looking to get back into this, played it for a while and then gave up as my mates stopped playing it. Just find it more fun when im playing with people that im talking to, i get bored just joining and playing solo.

 

I'm itching to play this again, but I'm currently waiting on an RMA of my motherboard. Argh.

 

Then its on. When you get the mobo back we play!

Tried playing last night, but there just seemed to be an abundance of ****nuggets about. 2 people were glitched in towers next to control points shooting out, but couldn't be shot in. And then while we're taking on the Vanu, half the people I was fighting along side just leave, about 8 tanks and 3x that amount of infantry just decide they're bored. Leaving me with 4 Vanguard's to try and defeat.

Zergs are fun, but unless your outfit makes up the majority of players, also highly unpredictable. Sometimes it's better to take a small group of friends deep behind enemy lines and start taking outposts.

 

That's what we did. Until we rolled a lot of tanks in, we couldn't get near the control point.

Have any of you guys found out which useroptions.ini values give the shiniest graphics? I'm seeing conflicting reports on the net about what should be set to 0, 5, etc. At the moment I'm running this

Finally got round to playing PS2, it finished dl'ing last night and i love it so far. Its the first mmo i'll give a proper go since wow. I've started others but not stuck it for long, this i may keep coming back too

 

What server are you playing on? Try and find yourself a decent Outfit; makes all the difference.
