So I wanted to show a friend some World of Tanks action on a LAN. He offered to pay for my premium, and, being Dutch, I didn't refuse. He bought me enough credits for a month of premium goodness through PayPal, but alas, he used the wrong button, and the ingame Gold was placed in the US server, while i play on the EU server. The tale of this fail is elaborate, and rant-worthy in it's own right, but it is not the story i wish to share with you today. We started a callback on Paypal, bought EU credits through another service (iDeal), and started playing. Unwittingly, we had planted the seed for what would unfold to become the legend of PlaySpan and the 28 Cents of Sorrow... So, grab a cup of coco and a warm blanket, and gather 'round, for when I get home from work, I will set about to telling the tale.
