    That's the diagram I am using to wire these to a molex (5 blues to 1 molex, 5 reds to another). Where on the molex would I wire it?

    n00b advice please!

    um why?
    just use this circuit
    one 27ohm resistor for the red LEDS and one 5.6ohm resistor for the blue LEDs
    just wire the LEDs in parallel

    and you can wire this all up to the red wire (5V) on one molex or both sides on the red wires of 2 different molexes
    to securly wire it you have to take the red wire out by bending the pins of the metal thing in there then solder a wire right onto that then put in back in and wire the rest of the circuit up to that wire you soldered onto molex thing
    o yea and for the ground wire repeat that except with one of the 2 black molex wires

    R1=27 Ohm is OK, but where did you get 5.6 Ohm for R2?
    R2= 5-3.6/5x.0.02=14 Ohm (next E12 value is 15 Ohm)

    Advised wattage for the resistors: 0.5 or 0.6W

    CD :)

    If you want to use this diagram (technically best), use following values for the resistors:
    Red leds: 5-2.3/0.02= 135 Ohm (use 120 or 150 Ohm 0.25W)
    Blue Leds: 5-3.6/0.02=175 Ohm (use 180 Ohm 0.25W)

    CD :)

    yea he means yours but if your putting the LEDs in the same area then why wouldn't you use mine so you don't have to go and buy all those resistors
