    Hi

I've just put a waterblock on a gigabyte 7850 and there's a single chip on the board which the block doesn't sit on which gets very hot:

Can anyone tell me what, or what that chip most likely is, and whether its even suppose to produce alot of heat? Thanks.

Ah, Thanks :) Seems silly that EK would just not even bother to put a raised section on the bottom of the block to reach that chip.

Yeah I've just put a copper square between the chip and the block, it sort of works but the board behind the chip still gets quite warm, not leaving much overclock potential :( , I just wonder whether it's actually suppose to even produce that much heat.
