So, i decided to walk home today and as i did i walked past a shop that makes and sells custom signs. I thought i'd see if the sell Plexi or Acrylic so i went in and asked if they sold it, they said yes, so i asked what colours etc... they had (not many) and they gave me this reel with square cuts on it, they didnt really have any decent ones but said they could order what i wanted, either UV or neon blue. So i asked for a price, they only sell in one size and two thicknesses, he quoted it at: A peice 2.3x1.5m at 3mm thick is £142 and 5mm is £195 Now personally i think thats a bit expensive, what do u think? I sounds a bit pricey actually.....The place I go to (in Australia) sells 6mm for about $90 per metre...thats about £34 i think. For that large piece it should be about £120. [edit: thats not taking into account the possible normal price difference for materials...I dont know if it should be equivalent or if there's extra taxes on it something]
