Modding Plexiglass/Alternative

    Any idea where i can get Plexiglass or an alternative in the UK? And what thickness would you suggest I use for a window?

    about 5mm should do the trick and be rigid :D although i dont know where to get it in the UK i think it would prefer Lexan

    at some home improvement stores they sell 2 by 4 sheets of cover material for overhead fluorescent lights. Come in various textures, but not plain and clear, AFAIK. A bit tough to cut and can shatter, but dremeling will take care of it.

    Best place price and colour choice I have found is Technology supplys - they do a heck of a range and loadsa other interesting stuff..

    3mm is the thinnest I would use as 2mm is cheap looking..

    I recommend anyone sends them a quid for the catalogue - so much stuff in there :)
