Any idea where i can get Plexiglass or an alternative in the UK? And what thickness would you suggest I use for a window?
about 5mm should do the trick and be rigid although i dont know where to get it in the UK i think it would prefer Lexan
at some home improvement stores they sell 2 by 4 sheets of cover material for overhead fluorescent lights. Come in various textures, but not plain and clear, AFAIK. A bit tough to cut and can shatter, but dremeling will take care of it. Hope this helps
Best place price and colour choice I have found is Technology supplys - they do a heck of a range and loadsa other interesting stuff.. 3mm is the thinnest I would use as 2mm is cheap looking.. I recommend anyone sends them a quid for the catalogue - so much stuff in there http://www.technologysupplies.co.uk
