I just ran by Arthur2Shed's Father's house and stole his Selex SR-700 Plotter. From what I hear these guys are no longer in business, but you can use cannon ink cartridges and HP printer drivers to get these running on a machine with XP. (I've also heard you have to use AutoCAD R-14 and below to plot to it...) Anyway, I really want to get this up and running, so here's what's happening: When he first put in the cartridge, and told it to perform a test plot (built-in test, not plugged into the computer yet) it would start and print the first inch or so then continue to move the head around as though it was plotting, but wouldn't be printing out anything. It looked EXACTLY as though it ran out of ink but didn't know it. But... replacing the ink cartridge still doesn't help, and both ink cartridges have a meter on the side showing them as 100% full. Any ideas?
