    IIRC, the Scan Jellyfish when it came out had a max power draw of ~1200W under load and idled at ~650W.

    his computer is nearly the same as mine minus the 5770 (which is not as efficient as my 5870 and draws nearly as much power). my computer draws ~420 watts under full load measured with a kill-a-watt meter and backed up by my UPS software.

    so now we know.

    not sure if you meant to or not, but your post comes off as quite rude...
